Susan Nisenbaum-Becker, MA, RDT

Susan Nisenbaum-Becker is an actor, dancer and poet, writing and performing as a solo artist and with several companies in the Boston area for many years. She has written numerous original and collaborative theater pieces which focus on the struggles and transformation of the human experience. Ms. Nisenbaum-Becker has danced in her own performance groups as well as under the direction of Cora Miller and Barbara Mettler. She is a student and teacher of Dances of Universal Peace. She has choreographed many works including sacred/liturgical dance for solo and group performance. A psycho-therapist in private practice, she works with individuals, couples, families and groups, and teaches and consults with school systems, organizations, and businesses. Ms. Nisenbaum-Becker performed the Boston debut of the one woman show THE LOBSTER REEF and appeared in Omega Theater's SUNSONG and multicultural art event SEJECHO: Voice of the Earth, both in Cambridge. Currently, she has been creating and performing EARTHEART and MOTHERBLOOD with Saphira Linden.
