This course will offer many of the tools of both Psychodrama, which is a specific clinical discipline, as well as Drama Therapy, which includes Psychodrama, as well as otherTransformational Theater and drama modalities used in the service of healing and education (including relaxation, movement, meditation, sound, poetry and improvisational exercises and games).

We will work with participants’ own case examples, serving as supervision, As well as well as experiencing these disciplines for new or seasoned practitioners. We will demonstrate how these modalities can be used including individuals, couples, families, and special group issues (e.g., addictions, trauma and abuse, adolescents at risk, and diversity issues). We will also offer ways to use these techniques in planning one’s curriculum as well as working more effectively with special needs and challenging students.
